Boischatel is a small town of about 8,500 residents just east of Quebec City, tucked between Beauport and the Côte-de-Beaupré. Best known for its proximity to Montmorency Falls, it’s a quiet, growing family suburb where new subdivisions keep popping up alongside a handful of older homes. We work here regularly. From $99.

Junk removal in Boischatel, what to know

Boischatel is a small, independent municipality directly bordering Quebec City, right at the eastern edge of the Beauport borough. The territory runs mainly along Route 138 (avenue Royale), with residential development on both the north and south sides of that road.

Recent residential growth. Boischatel has seen notable population growth over the past 15-20 years, drawing middle-class families who want to combine easy access to Quebec City (about 15 minutes away) with a quieter setting. The result: a lot of recent residential construction (2005-2020) — semi-detached homes and modern single-family houses with large basements.

Typical job profile. Basement and garage cleanouts dominate our work here. Nearly every home in Boischatel has a finished or semi-finished basement, often used as extra storage. The population skews young-to-middle-aged families (35-55), with plenty of school-age and teenage kids. Typical accumulation: childhood toys that have become obsolete, assorted sports equipment, and surplus from bulk buying.

A few older homes near avenue Royale. The historic heart of Boischatel along avenue Royale includes some older buildings (19th to early 20th century). Cleanouts there are more demanding logistically — sometimes tight access, old interior staircases. These jobs are rare for us in Boischatel (a small minority), but we’re equipped to handle them.

Proximity to Montmorency Falls. A few residences close to the Falls are used as seasonal rentals or secondary homes. Some owners call us for between-tenant cleanouts or renovation debris removal.

Access and logistics. Route 138 / boulevard Sainte-Anne gets us there quickly from Quebec City — about 20-25 minutes from our warehouse. Wide residential streets, private driveways, and easy parking.
