Pricing and billing
How much does junk removal cost in Quebec City?
Price depends on volume. $149 minimum for a small job (up to 3 yd³), $299 for a quarter truck, $499 for a half truck, $659 for 3/4, $769 for a full truck.
Are there hidden fees?
No. No fuel surcharge, no admin fee, no surprises. Transparent surcharges without elevator: $45 (1st floor), $85 (2nd), $130 (3rd), $180 (4th+), $35 (basement), $25 (exterior Quebec staircase in plex). Plus: 10% commercial context, 5% renovation site, +$1/km beyond 20 km from centre.
Do you adjust the price down if final volume is less?
Yes. That’s our guarantee. If we estimate a half truck but only fill a quarter, we charge for the quarter.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, Interac e-Transfer, bank transfer, credit card. You pay AFTER service, not before.
Do you match competitor quotes?
Yes, we match any written quote from established Quebec competitors. Send us the quote.
Timing and availability
Are you available same-day?
Often yes, if you call before 11 a.m. Otherwise we come within 24 to 48 hours.
Do you work weekends?
Yes, 7 days a week, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
How far in advance should I book?
Average 24-48 h. For peak periods (end of month, end of April, end of August = moves), allow 3-5 days.
Do I need to be home during pickup?
Not necessarily. We can come while you’re at work if you provide access. You pay after by phone.
What we take (and don’t)
What items do you take?
Furniture (all), mattresses, appliances, boxes, non-hazardous construction debris, pianos, hot tubs, almost any non-hazardous item.
What do you NOT take?
Paint, solvents, oil, asbestos, fibreglass, medical waste, hazardous materials (TDG). For these, we point you to the proper drop-off centre.
Do you disassemble furniture?
Yes, included. Beds, armoires, shelving that won’t fit through doors: we disassemble at no charge.
Do you take broken appliances?
Yes. Fridges, stoves, washers, dryers — working or not. We take them to the proper recycling centres.
Estate and sensitive situations
How does it work for an estate cleanout?
We come with a team trained for this sensitive context. We can pre-sort with you (keep / donate / trash). Discreet, patient service. One detailed invoice.
Can you work with a notary?
Yes. We issue compliant invoices and donation certificates for charities. The notary can contact us directly.
What if the home is heavily cluttered (hoarding)?
We have experience. We come on-site for a free assessment, plan the work over 1-3 days depending on volume, and respect everyone’s dignity.
Eco-responsibility
What do you do with what you pick up?
Systematic sorting: anything donatable goes to local charities (Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, Renaissance, Salvation Army, Entraide Diabétique). Clean wood, metal, mattresses via Recyc-Matelas. The rest to drop-off centres. Landfill = last resort.
Can you provide proof of donation?
Yes. On request, we document where donated items went (charity, date).
