Do you take a fridge even if broken or leaking?

Yes, even non-functional. Gases are degassed by a certified centre in Quebec before metal recycling. No surcharge for condition.

My washer works, do you buy?

No, we don't buy, but we can donate to a local charity that repairs and resells cheaply. Proof available on request.

Do I need to unhook before you arrive?

Ideally yes. For dishwashers and washers with plumbing, you'll need a plumber or to close valves and disconnect beforehand.

How much for 3-4 appliances?

Often $89 (1/8 truck) if they all fit. Otherwise $179 for 1/4. Tell us approximate dimensions, we confirm.

Should I empty and defrost the fridge or freezer first?

Please empty it and, for a freezer, defrost it a day ahead. Melting frost left inside makes the unit heavy to carry and drips through the truck, so wipe out any food, water or loose ice before we arrive.

Will you come out for just one appliance?

Yes. A single fridge, stove or dryer is fine — that's our $89 minimum (1/8 truck). No need to wait until you have a full load. Most single-appliance pickups take under fifteen minutes on site.

The freezer is in the basement — can two people carry it up?

Yes. Heavy units and staircases are routine for us; we send two people for fridges, freezers and full-size washers. Just clear a path to the stairs and we handle the lifting, including tight turns and narrow doorways.
