Frequently asked questions about this service

Are you an alternative to a dumpster?

Yes, often faster and cheaper for small/medium renos. A dumpster costs $300-500 for 5-7 days, we charge $349-649 for one-shot pickup, no permit hassle.

Do you take old drywall that might have lead paint?

Standard drywall (post-1980 homes): yes. Pre-1980 drywall painted with lead paint or with vermiculite tiles (potential asbestos): no. Those need certified firms.

My workers stacked drywall in the basement. Do you carry it up?

Yes. Stairs included. More time needed based on quantity.

New appliance and cabinet cardboard boxes, do you take?

Yes, always in this service. We recycle them.

Is there a surcharge for heavy debris like tile, mortar or plaster?

Sometimes. Volume sets the base price, but a half-truck packed with wet plaster, ceramic or cement board weighs far more than the same space of wood. If a load is unusually heavy we flag the adjustment before loading, never after.

Do you work with contractors, or only homeowners?

Both. Homeowners doing a weekend demo call us the most, but plenty of renovators and general contractors use us to clear a job site so the crew keeps working. We invoice businesses and can coordinate around your trades' schedule.

Do you sort the debris, or does it all go to landfill?

We sort. Clean wood, metal, cardboard and intact fixtures are separated for recycling or reuse; only true waste goes to disposal. Sorting on site is how we keep most of a renovation load out of the dump.
