Flat-rate single-item pickup

For a pickup with just one item (no other cleanout around it), here are the minimum flat rates.

No confusion: the per-item prices in the calculator above (e.g. fridge $75) are add-ons to a volume tier — not standalone prices. For a fridge alone, with no other item, the minimum call fee is $149.

Pricing FAQ

Everything clients ask before booking.

Are the prices firm once locked?
Yes. The price you lock via the calculator is valid for 7 days, subject to a quick phone verification of volume and access. If everything matches, the price is confirmed. If the actual situation differs (e.g. much larger volume than described), we give you a revised quote before any work starts — no surprises on the invoice.
What if the actual volume is less than estimated?
We adjust the price down. It’s in our guarantees and applied systematically. If the 1/2 truck you booked turns out to be only a 1/4 truck, you pay the 1/4 rate — we never bill for volume that isn’t there.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The calculator shows every line of the calculation (tier + floors + items + distance). No fuel surcharge, no admin fee, no eco-fee. The displayed total = what you pay (before taxes).
Why a 2-person minimum, even for a single item?
Safety and liability. Most residential items (sofas, mattresses, fridges) weigh 130-260 lbs — only safe to handle with two people without risking injury or damage to your home. Our minimum rate ($149) covers those two people plus trucking.
How can I pay?
Interac e-Transfer (easiest), Visa, Mastercard, or cash. We always issue an invoice with tax numbers — essential for an estate, a property sale, or a business receipt.
Is it more expensive on July 1 or on a Saturday?
No, no calendar surcharge. Prices are the same 7 days a week. The only difference: availability. We recommend booking 2-3 weeks ahead of July 1 to secure a slot.
