Wendake is the territory of the Huron-Wendat Nation, enclaved within Quebec City near Loretteville. It’s a community of 2,200 residents with its own governance, history, and institutions. We work here with genuine respect and an understanding of the local context — nothing changes about our pricing or service quality. Same rates as everywhere else we serve. From $99.
Junk removal in Wendake, what to know
Wendake is the only Indigenous reserve in the Quebec City metropolitan area. It’s the territory of the Huron-Wendat Nation, governed by the Nation’s Council, with its own administration separate from the City of Quebec. Geographically, it’s enclaved within the Loretteville sector.
Respecting the cultural context. Working in Wendake isn’t quite the same as working in a Quebec City suburb. We make sure our teams understand they’re operating on sovereign Indigenous territory. That means adapted communication, respect for residents’ homes, and no assumptions. Nothing about our pricing or service changes — just a professional approach adapted to the context.
A varied housing stock. Wendake includes modern single-family homes, older houses, and a handful of institutions (schools, museums, a hotel). For residential jobs, the work resembles what we do in neighbouring Loretteville — single-family homes with garages, basements, standard cleanouts.
A commercial and institutional side. Wendake is home to several businesses and institutions owned by members of the Nation: Tourisme Wendake, artisan businesses, administrative services. Our commercial service can handle these organizations too — office cleanouts, relocations, post-renovation debris removal.
Its own community services. Wendake runs its own municipal services (water, police, and so on). We work within that framework — following the Nation’s waste management guidelines where they apply to our work.
Access. Easy to reach from neighbouring Loretteville. Our truck arrives from the warehouse in 20-25 minutes.
Languages. Service is offered mainly in French, and in English on request. Many of our potential clients in Wendake are bilingual in French and Wendat — our team adapts to whichever language the client prefers to communicate in.
