Lac-Beauport is the resort municipality north of Quebec City — a little over 8,000 residents nestled around the lake, in the hills of the La Jacques-Cartier RCM. Large homes, converted cottages, waterfront properties: the housing stock is out of the ordinary here, and so is the junk removal. We’re up this way regularly, about twenty minutes from downtown by autoroute Laurentienne. From $99.
Junk removal in Lac-Beauport, what to know
A resort community, not a suburb. Lac-Beauport has grown since the 1930s as a vacation destination, and it still shows in the housing stock. Around lac Beauport and along chemin du Tour-du-Lac, you’ll find large homes, former cottages turned into four-season houses, and upscale waterfront properties. Cleanout volumes here tend to be bigger than in the city: finished basements, double garages, sheds and cabins at the back of wooded lots.
Estates and family cottages. A lot of our jobs here involve estates — a cottage kept in the family for decades, a home to empty before a sale. We handle the estate cleanout from start to finish: antique furniture, boxes in the attic, outdoor gear, without the family having to sort through everything alone. Discretion and respect for the property, every time.
Hot tubs, basements and bulky furniture. A waterfront property often comes with an aging backyard hot tub, a deck to take apart or a basement packed to the rafters. We remove hot tubs, old appliances and oversized furniture, including when a piece has to be dismantled on site to get it out.
Access is the real challenge. The terrain changes everything in Lac-Beauport. Sloped driveways, wooded lots, roads that wind around the lake, limited parking near the water: we plan the hauling, the loading order and sometimes two trips before we even head up. In winter, we factor in snow and icy access — it’s best to book a few days ahead for a busy weekend.
Getting there from Quebec City. From our warehouse, count on about twenty minutes via autoroute Laurentienne (73), then the exits toward boulevard du Lac. Lac-Beauport is part of our standard service zone: no distance surcharge, the same price as in Sainte-Foy or Charlesbourg. We also serve Stoneham, just to the north.
