Lévis is a city in its own right — 150,000 residents on Quebec City’s South Shore, spread across distinct sectors: Vieux-Lévis, Saint-Nicolas, Saint-Romuald, Lauzon, and Pintendre. Depending on your address, we cross the Pierre-Laporte bridge or take the ferry to get to you. Same pricing as the North Shore, no South Shore surcharge. From $99.

Junk removal in Lévis, what to know

Lévis isn’t a borough of Quebec City — it’s a separate city of 150,000 residents, formed in 2002 through the merger of 10 former municipalities. The result is a large, geographically scattered territory with property profiles that vary widely from one sector to the next.

The main sectors we cover.

Vieux-Lévis (historic downtown, riverfront). Dense building stock, older homes, mixed population. Access can be tight on the narrow streets near the ferry terminal. Think a smaller version of Saint-Jean-Baptiste or Vieux-Limoilou.

Saint-Romuald and Saint-Jean-Chrysostome. Residential sectors with a mix of single-family homes from the 1960s-90s. Standard suburban-type jobs.

Saint-Nicolas. The west sector, with newer developments, young families, and numerous new residential projects along boulevard Laurier. Comparable to Cap-Rouge in terms of property profile.

Charny and Breakeyville. Formerly independent municipalities, more rural sectors, larger properties, some agricultural. We go out here for barn, shed, and large garage cleanouts.

Lauzon (east). An older industrial and residential sector with several plexes and small working-class homes. Post-move cleanouts are common here.

Bridge or ferry? For our jobs in Lévis, we mainly use the Pierre-Laporte bridge (often faster than people expect outside of rush hour). The ferry also works, but it only makes sense for us specifically for Vieux-Lévis, and not with a heavy truck.

No South Shore surcharge. Important: we don’t charge more for a job in Lévis. Same rate as downtown Quebec City. Our volume-based pricing model stays consistent.

Mixed demographics. Unlike many Quebec City sectors, Lévis has a balanced demographic mix — not dominated by 65+ residents like Charlesbourg, or by 30-45 year-olds like Val-Bélair. Our jobs here are varied.

Response time. From our warehouse, expect 25-40 minutes depending on the exact sector (longer for western Saint-Nicolas and Charny).
