Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures is the neighbouring town west of Quebec City — another independent municipality that opted out of the 2006 merger, more residential and more spread out than L’Ancienne-Lorette. About 20,000 residents, an industrial park, and large residential lots throughout the town. We’re out this way on a regular basis for pickups of every size. From $99.
Junk removal in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, what to know
Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures is larger geographically than L’Ancienne-Lorette and considerably more varied in its housing stock. The town borders the Saint-Lawrence River to the south, stretches north to autoroute Félix-Leclerc, and covers a mix of residential sectors, a sizeable industrial park, and agricultural land on its outer edges. That range means our jobs here vary a lot more than in a smaller, more uniform sector.
Three distinct residential profiles.
Central residential sector (around boulevard Masson). Developments from the 1970s-2000s, single-family homes, mid-sized lots. A stable clientele of families. Classic suburban cleanouts.
Riverfront sector. Properties along chemin du Roy sit on larger lots, and some are prestige properties right on the water. Cleanouts here tend to be bigger jobs — larger homes, deeper basements, more to load. Access is excellent along this stretch.
North sector, semi-rural. Properties sit on larger lots, sometimes with secondary buildings — a barn, a sizeable shed, a detached garage with a workshop. Cleanouts here can include typically rural items: old farm equipment, materials stored outdoors, and similar things you won’t find in a standard suburban job.
The industrial park. Saint-Augustin has a sizeable industrial park (boulevard Masson, autoroute Félix-Leclerc). For us, that means regular commercial cleanout opportunities: office clear-outs, business relocations, post-construction cleanups. We offer a tailored commercial cleanout service for these jobs.
Family demographics, more diverse. Unlike Sillery or Charlesbourg, where the demographic skews heavily 65+, Saint-Augustin has a more balanced mix — families with young children, mid-career professionals, and retirees, spread across all three sectors.
Distance. From our warehouse, it’s about 20-30 minutes depending on which part of Saint-Augustin you’re in. No surcharge for that — it’s within our standard service zone, same as everywhere else we cover.
