The Côte-de-Beaupré is the string of municipalities that runs along the river northeast of Quebec City, from the Chute Montmorency to Cap Tourmente. We cover Château-Richer, Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Beaupré, Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges, Saint-Joachim and Saint-Tite-des-Caps — roughly 25 to 50 minutes out. From $99.
Junk removal on the Côte-de-Beaupré, what to know
The Côte-de-Beaupré isn’t a neighbourhood but a whole region: the MRC groups a little over 30,000 residents across about ten municipalities, on a narrow band pinned between the Saint-Lawrence River and the Laurentian escarpment. This page covers the municipalities farther east; L’Ange-Gardien and Boischatel, at the entrance, have their own page.
Some of the oldest housing stock in Quebec. Château-Richer was the first rural parish of New France, and avenue Royale, which runs the length of the Côte, is among the oldest roads in North America. It’s lined with ancestral homes from the 18th and 19th centuries — low attics, deep stone basements, and outbuildings where decades of belongings pile up. Ideal ground for a top-to-bottom cleanout.
Estate cleanouts and pre-sale clear-outs. A long-settled, aging population means plenty of estate settlements. We sort, empty the attic, basement and shed, then leave the house ready for the realtor. Many families plan this kind of clear-out over a weekend, and we schedule around that. See our estate cleanout service.
Cottages and vacation properties. Around Mont-Sainte-Anne and in Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges, you’ll find cottages, ski condos and second homes. Ownership changes and off-season renovations generate furniture and appliance pickups. We work around mountain access and sloped driveways.
Rural and farm properties. Toward Saint-Joachim and Saint-Tite-des-Caps, the land turns genuinely rural: large lots, barns, sheds and detached garages. Cleanouts here can include old farm equipment, materials stored outdoors, and secondary buildings to empty completely.
Distance and surcharge. The Chute Montmorency marks the entrance to the Côte; from there, Château-Richer and Beaupré are 20 to 40 minutes from our warehouse, with no surcharge. For the farthest municipalities — beyond 50 km, such as Saint-Tite-des-Caps — a small distance surcharge may apply. We always quote it up front, in a firm price: no surprises on the day.
